Scholarships

The Alumni Scholars Program

The Alumni Scholars Program cultivates alumni leaders for the future by recognizing their outstanding academic achievement and community contributions, as well as their potential for success at MU. Scholarship awards are for students enrolling at the University of Missouri in Columbia and are merit based. For the current academic year, the Mizzou Alumni Association and its affiliated alumni chapters and organizations awarded more than $500,000 to students, ranging in amounts from $500 to $5,000.

St. Louis Chapter Scholarships

Across the country, the Mizzou Alumni Association supports a variety of regional alumni chapters who work to support MU through engaging students and alumni in their geographic region. A majority of our scholarships are provided by these regional chapters, who raise funds throughout the year to support area students who hope to attend MU. Chapter leaders all across the country review submitted scholarship applications and, in some cases, interview local students when deciding their awards. These chapter scholarships are made possible through the allocation of membership dues and the local fundraising efforts of individual chapters. These awards range in amount and can be renewable or non-renewable, depending on the chapter and available funds.
